We are now seeking a health coach who wants to help build and shape a new unit for preventive work within elderly care in Töreboda municipality.

Description

On January 1, 2026, a new unit for preventive work within elderly care will be established in Töreboda. The unit is being created to meet the new requirements in the Social Services Act that social services should be more accessible and work more preventively and knowledge-based. Therefore, we are now looking for a health coach who can contribute knowledge about preventive work for the elderly and who is interested in helping to create a new unit with a new working method. The unit's mission will include creating meeting points, working with family support, assisting individuals with dementia diagnoses with early interventions and day activities.

Job Responsibilities

The unit consists of nursing assistants and leisure leaders with different specialties. We are now strengthening the unit with a new competence that will work with early and preventive interventions and help create meeting points for the residents of Töreboda. This also means that collaboration with the local associations will need to be expanded. Since the unit and working method are new, there are great opportunities to help shape the unit and the position.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you need to have:

• A university degree in public health or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer

• Experience working with the elderly

• Experience leading change and development work

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365

• A valid driver's license (B)

As a person, you are communicative, clear, and have an easy time seeing the big picture. You have a positive demeanor and see opportunities. You should enjoy working in an environment where development, collaboration, and contact with other people are a natural part of everyday life.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
